Special Naturalization Ceremony for Service Members this Memorial Day

       This week USCIS officials traveled to Afghanistan to process naturalization applications and interview 125 members of the military who have applied to become U.S. citizens. H-1B Fiscal Year 2010 Quota Still Open for New Applicants

           Once again, the USCIS has announced that it is still accepting filings for H-1B petitions for the fiscal year 2010 program.  As of May 18, 2009, USCIS has received only 45,500 H-1B petitions counting toward the Congressionally-mandated 65,000 cap.  Additionally, the agency has received approximately 20,000 petitions for aliens with advanced degrees, but it [...]

Supreme Court Rules on Applicability of Aggravated Identity Theft Statute to an Immigrant’s Use of a False Social Security Number
